Making this based on ingredients on hand. Named after last nights full moon which has been given several names over hundreds of years that include Full Sturgeon Moon, the Full Red Moon, the Green Corn Moon and the Grain Moon....Full Blue Moon was added to the list of names last night. Grain Moon was one that we liked. The chocolate malt is a crisp pale chocolate coming in at just 250L. Would work as an American Brown Ale, Robust Porter, Foreign Extra Stout or an American Stout according to BJCP. Should be tasty!!

1.Crush grain and mash out at 154 degrees 60 min
2.Collect 6.5 gallons
3.Boil 60 minutes with scheduled hop additions and Irish Moss addition
4.Cool rapidly to 75 degrees. Pitch yeast
5.Rack to keg after 2 week primary
