Mash Steps

Special Instructions

1.
Mash the 2-Row Barely and CaraPils at 155°F for 60 minutes
2.
Rinse the mash with 170°F water to rinse off converted sugars and bring volume to 3.5 Gal. Target 50% efficiency.
3.
Bring the wort to a boil and add 1 oz Northern Brewer hops
4.
Add 3 Lb Honey at 50 minutes into the boil
5.
Add 1 oz Fuggles (UK) hops at 58 minutes into the boil
6.
Stop the boil after 60 minutes and chill wort to pitching temp
7.
Pitch yeast and ferment. Rack to secondary after fermentation subsides.
