Instead of White Labs SF Lager yeast, I used Wyeast California Lager yeast; and 57-59 degree basement led to 47 day fermentation phase to level off gas production. Also, the Fuggles alpha-acids were 2-4 times higher concentration than most past Sligo Steamers.

This recipe was cloned from Batch 19 -- Danish-SF Perle Steamer -- clone of 18.

One hour to chill the wort, add make-up water, test specific gravity and finally add yeast at 74 degrees.

Note: fermentation temperature 57-59 degrees F

Obtain Sp. Gr. reading before inoculation with Wyeast 2112 CA Lager (botched pkg opening)

Note that Final fuggle hops added for last 5 minutes of 65 minute boil at minute 60 of stove
