Clean, easy drinking IPA with no fruit and very little citrus taste, slightly peppery. Not unlike Sierra Nevada pale ale, but stronger. I made this to use up some leftover/sale ingredients, and it turned out really nice. Will definitely make again. AA of Eureka hops are adjusted here so that IBU numbers come out the same as in Brewfather. They list it as 18 AA. Flame out hops are a hop stand, and stay in until right before pitching yeast, which was about 30 minutes. I used Briess golden light DME, 3.5L, but any light DME should be fine. A little amylase added to the caramel 30L makes sure it will convert. Brewfather shows OG 1.068 and FG 1.011 with this same recipe, with a 7.5% ABV. Maintaining a steady temperature is important for getting good flavor from kveik yeast. I used a sous vide cooker in a water bath for this. This works great for mashing, too, so long as you brew in a bag.
