This brew session actually occured on 3-15-25

12:00 - Dough in @ 154°, circulate for 60 minutes
3.
1:00 - Mash out and begin sparging @ 168° (60 minutes)
4.
2:10 - Begin boil (90 minute)
5.
2:40 - Add .75oz Northern Brewer hops (60 minutes)
6.
3:36 - Add 2oz Hallertauer hops (4 minutes)
7.
3:36 - Add 1/2 tsp Yeast Nutrient and one Whirlfloc tablet to 4oz hot wort, stir into wort.
8.
3:40 - "Flameout"...Begin Whirlpool
9.
At flameout, with only 3.5 gallons remaining, OG was 1.098
10.
Added 10 quarts of pre-prepped water, bringing total to 6 gallons with an OG of 1.051
11.
4:30 - Cool and transfer to Carboy @ 55°
12.
1 minute of 100% oxygen
13.
4:35 - Pitch double yeast starter
14.
Placed in cooler set at 50° (actually, 46° since Mark says it runs 4° warmer than reading)
