Special Instructions

1.
Jan 06/23: Mashed in with 15L, 2.5g each CaCl2 and CaSO4, 3ml lactic.

Hit 65C, 45 minute mash.

Sparged with with 19L, 3g each CaCl2 and CaSO4, 3.5ml lactic.
4.
Added 14g(0.5oz) Clubhouse Sea Salt and 0.5lbs lactose at 15 minutes
5.
Added 0.75lbs brown sugar with 3tbsp Carnation Simply Hot Chocolate at 10 minutes
6.
Added whirlfloc and yeast nutrient at 10 minutes
7.
Jan 06/23 12pm: Pitched into 23C wort, FC set to 19C. Little sign of foaming, anticipating poor head retention.
8.
Jan 07/23 7am: Fermentation has started, big krausen. FC down to 14C.
9.
Jan 07/23 430pm: Laser beer 15.3C.
10.
Jan 09/23 7am: Laser beer 15.3C.
11.
Jan 10/23 1230pm: Laser beer at 14.3C and krausen dropping. FC set to 19C to finish.
12.
Jan 15/23 5pm: Set FC to 5C to begin cooling.
13.
Feb 11/24: Bottling Day! Added 5.22oz dextrose to 20.25L at 20C for 2.67 volumes.
14.
Added 2g more Clubhouse Sea Salt and 2Tsp Elimento Vanilla Bean Extract.
