Special Instructions

1.
12 lts bottled spring water for mash with 5 lts tap water. 10 mins @ 62C then 1 hr at 65C
2.
Then to 75C for 10 mins mash-out. Then up to 77C for sparging
3.
Sparge with 15 lts water (Tap). Mash efficiency 80%
4.
Boil. First hops in at 60 mins. Second hops in with half Protofloc tab for 10 mins.
5.
23 lts collected - Yeast added at 22C 'Pure Brew' added at the same time. SG 1.052
6.
Fermenting very quickly, started after a few hours. Fermenting well at 22C 5 hrs later.
7.
3 days after brewing - Racked off yeast SG1.022 @3rd Oct SG1.018
8.
Bottled on 27th October, batch primed with 65 gms corn sugar SG1.018
