Special Instructions

1.
Mash temp 152, mash out 165, boil 60 minutes, typical whirlpool for 20 minutes, rest for 15.
2.
Add 1 fl oz pure vanilla extract late boil.

Ferment at 67F.
4.
After fermentation, add 3 oz of whole bean medium-roast coffee to a sanitized nylon mesh bag. Boil the bag in water.
5.
Submerge the coffee bag in the fermenter (67-70F), but tie/hook it so that it can easily be removed.
6.
Remove the coffee bag after 24-48 hours, or when the beer reaches your desired flavor profile. Sample every 12 hours or so.
7.
Add 2-4 vanilla beans soaked in rum to fermenter after primary fermentation is complete.
8.
Condition for 2 months is ideal.
