Special Instructions
1.Bring 1 gallon of water to 150 F in brewing kettle.
2.Steep crystal malt in grain bag at around 150 F for 30 minutes
3.Remove bag and bring to boil.
4.Add malt extract and .37 oz (11 g) of Simcoe hop pellets to boiling water.
5.After 10 minutes, add .16 oz. (5 g) of Simcoe hop pellets.
6.After 15 minutes turn off heat and add .16 oz. (5 g) of Simcoe hop pellets.
7.Cool Wort to around 68 F.
8.Pour Wort into fermenter, leaving trub and hops behind.
9.Pitch 2 grams Safale US-05.
10.Let fermentation proceed, adding .16 oz (5 g ) of Simcoe hops to fermenter once primary fermentation has slowed.
11.Let sit for 3 days and then chill for 24 hours.
