Mash Steps

Special Instructions

1.
4.5 Gallons of strike water at 170 degrees.
2.
Mash in at 154 degrees for 60 minutes.
3.
Heat 5 gallons of sparge water to 175 degrees and begin lauter.
4.
Collect draff and recycle back into mash tun until runoff is clear.
5.
Need about 7 gallons of wart for the boil.
6.
Boil 90 minutes following hop additions in recipe.
7.
Whirpool and let wart settle for 20 minutes.
8.
Cool to 70 degrees and transfer to carboy.
9.
Pitch yeast and seal.
10.
After Krausen falls and fermentation is complete add dry hops. Let sit on hops for 2 days.
11.
Transfer to secondary. Cold crash for 3 days. Transfer to keg and 5 day CO2 start at 15 psi.
