Poured medium brown color, a little dark for a red ale. Quarter inch foamy head. Was pleasantly satisfied with amount of carbonation. I did a brown ale earlier that had about the same carbonation level and had to use a syringe to get a good head. This poured a nice head. Nice, sweet malty aroma. Nice sweet malt taste. Mellow hop taste, not overpowering. Good carbonation. Much better than the brown ale turn out. Nice. Wife likes it, which is good, because I made it for her.
