No water adjustments except 1/4 campden tablet in strike water Overshot strike water temp by 1.5F (159.7F) since i've been undershooting mash temps; Hit 149.9F initial Mash temp Stirred every 15 mins; Ended at 146.3; Vorlaufed 2 quarts, first runnings at 1.056 (refractometer/14 Brix) Collected 4 Gallons @ 1.058 Cold batch sparge w/2.5 Gallons (1 less than recommended); stirred and rested 5 minutes First sparge runnings @ 1.025 Collected 6.5 Gallons total @ 1.043 Boiled 60 minutes Super Moss and Yeast nutrient at 10 minutes Added flame out hops a couple of minutes after chilling started chilled to 70F, whirl pooled OG: 1.051 on refractometer and hydrometer (1.050 corrected to 1.051) transferred to 6.5 gallon carboy, aerated, pitched freshly harvested yeast from galaxy pale (WLP007) --- 4/3/17 --- AM: Fermenation starting up nicely PM: half an inch of Krausen, couple of bubbles every second --- 4/5/17 -- AM: Krausen fallen and fermentation slowing --- ? --- Transferred into secondary; Added 1oz EKG; had a slight diesel-alcohol flavor, hoped would clear --- 4/26/17 --- Tasted from secondary after 2 1/2 weeks w/dry hop; Clearly a FAIL! (See tasting notes) Probably won't keg and will discard any yeast left over from the same harvest.

Notes:

!!!FAIL!!! Sat in Carboy w/Dry hops for 2 and bit weeks. Slight off taste that I tasted when going into secondary didn't clear and now just tastes off. Stale/oxidized and harsh alcohols. I think this was a yeast issue (2nd generation re-pitched yeast, no starter, probably poor oxygenation)
