Strong fermentation started after 12 hrs, fermentation was steady for 3 days at 65 degrees. Put on brew belt and got temp up to 70 degrees and krausen grew, shut belt off and hope to keep around 68 for next couple of days as I have read that WLP041 can ferment for a while. Ended up with 54 - 12 oz, 2 Bombers.

Notes:

Fantastic beer!! Nice citrus aroma, very balanced hop profile, a very clean citrus hop up front and nice bitter pine on the back. Perfect carbonation with a nice head retention, nice deep amber red color.

Have 5.3 gallons in bottle bucket, has a nice floral aroma with a nice pine bitter, good session beer.

Notes:

Pulled a sample to get gravity reading, got 1.012 on hydrometer and 1.014 on refractometer after using conversion software. Very tropical start and finishes with a piney back taste, a little bit of heavy alcohol taste, not super smooth, but a nice malt finish.
