first time using keggle. Overestimated volume of sparge water due to lack of evaporation in keggle. ended up with about 11 gallons of lower SG wort than expected (1.038). Didn't lose as much volume as expected during boil. Also tried complete fly sparge operation for first time with full 11 gallon batch. Split the batch into two 5.5 gallon batches to ferment. One had AE added and finished at 1.0000 and was bottled. The other half ended at 1.002 and was kegged.

You wanted an OG of 1.047. It looks like it will be under.

Notes:

achieved the balance of hops I was hoping for. Did turn out drier than I hoped but overall much better than the cream ale that was a bit lighter flavored even though technically slightly stronger.

Notes:

Ended just about 1.000 FG, still had some sweet aftertaste, but obviously a dry beer.

Notes:

Got a sample while racking to secondary. Very clean taste with just the flavor I was looking for, albeit a bit lighter. Added ae, should be a very dry beer.
