Easy brew. Was able to KO at a decent rate. Propane tank was dying, which I think resulted in a little less boil off before I changed it out.
11/13@1.014--kegged
11/25 Jet black with only a touch of garnet at glass's edge. Pale khaki foam that begins dense then recedes to a cap covering the beer. Dark chocolate, sweet malt, and caramel aromas. Rich malt combiners with a firm bitterness, medium-bodied, with a dry finish.
Drinkable, complex, but those qualities are never at odds with each other.
