Screwed up and forgot to check OG before pitching yeast.

3 gal water added after the boil for a final volume of 5 gal. OG was way over at 1.076. ???The pre-pitched wort had a nice stouty aroma but was more bitter than expected.1/11/20 - FG sample exactly as expected at 1.014. The sample tasted really good.
