A super simple beginners brew that makes a light amber beer with medium body. Similar to, in my opinion, a light wheat beer, i.e. Harpoon white label unfiltered wheat.

Special Instructions
1.Steep white wheat for 15-17 minutes at 155 F in 2 and half gallons of water. Remove wheat and bring to a boil.
2.Remove from heat to slowly stir in and add the malt extract. Once complete move back to heat and bring to a boil.
3.Hold slow boil for 45 minutes, adding hops at the start of the boil.
4.Remove from heat and chill in ice bath or with immersion chiller down to 70-72 degrees F. Slowly adding water to complete the five gallons needed.
5.Transfer wort to the 5 gallon fermenting vessel, stirring gently to add oxygen, sprinkle in yeast adding a few good stirs and close it up to ferment for approximately six days.
6.After 72 hours fermentation should have subsided and let rest for another 72 hours before bottling.
7.Auto siphon into bottling vessel. Stir in approximately one pound of priming sugar and begin bottling. Age in bottle for about 2 weeks and enjoy.
