Special Instructions

1.
Collect 1.5 gallons of water for mash out & bring to 168 degrees . Mash for 90 minutes @ 150 degrees
2.
Collect 2.25 gallons of water for sparge & bring to 168 degrees
3.
Pre boil volume should be 3.5 to 3.75 gallons.
4.
Boil for 60 minutes add in 1.5 oz of Cascade hops
5.
At 15 minutes left in boil add 1.5 oz of Cascade hops and 1/4 teaspoon of Irish Moss
6.
Cool to 70 degrees and pitch yeast.
7.
Original gravity should be 1.11 or 26 Brix & Final should be 1.021 or 13.5 Brix
