I'm pretty happy drinking this. Nice brown ale with a fine nearly white foamy head. Very drinkable, bittered correctly. Just a touch of the smoked peat malt adds flavor complexity. Not sweet; the 4% crystal malt gives a good neutral balance. I need to share with some other tasters. Next time I will half the chocolate malt.
Notes:
Fermented 14 days. Cold crashing fermenter outside in the snowbank. OG 1.064 FG 1.008 ABV 7.3 SPG sample is tasty! Kegging tomorrow.
