This is my second batch of this one. I have my third batch in my keezer now, waiting to age. I brought a growler of this batch to my home brew club meeting in May and was asked where I purchased the beer. When I told him that it was a home brew he did not believe me, until I convinced him otherwise. He quickly summoned the president and a few of the qualified beer judges from the club over for a taste of their own. They all agreed that it was the best scotch ale that they have ever tasted. I based this grain bill on a recipe from Beersmith that took a "Best of Show?" at the Michigan Beer Cup a few years back. (I can see why) If you enjoy a heavy malted scotch ale, then you will want to try this one. I have to ration my garage groupies on this on, otherwise it would be gone in a few days! Enjoy and happy home brewing!
