2.Added .625 cups each (10 Tbsp) of dark maple syrup, Maker's Mark soaked in pecans for 10 days and water. Boiled to sanitize, cooled and added to secondary for 10 days.
Beautiful dark brown with a creamy off white froth. Notes of vanilla, nuts, maple, caramel, earthy herbal spicy hops, light leather, bourbon and oak. Great taste, a real smooth culmination of all aromas and a brilliant balance of bitter and sweet. The mouthfeel is rich and creamy, mid carbonation helps. A nutty, maple sweetness and spicy bitterness lingers on. No hint of booziness is present. A fantastic brew.
