Special Instructions

1.
4 Gallons strike water per 5 Gallon batch
2.
Sparge slowly at 170? until achieving preboil kettle volume of 6 Gallons (per 5 gallon batch)

1/2 whirlfloc at 10 mins left in boil

After boil, cool wort to 180?, add hop stand (2 oz Columbus/ 5G batch) and stir
5.
After hop stand addition, stir then let settle for 30 mins before cooling to yeast pitching temp
6.
Ferment at 68?
7.
As krausen begins to fall ... typically day 4 or 5 ... add the dry hops to the fermenter and let sit on hops for 5 days.
8.
After sitting on dry hop for 5 days, keg at 2.4 Volumes CO2
9.
Substitute Mosaic, Galaxy or El Dorado for citra in the dry hop.
