Strike temp too hot for p-rest. Added almost 1/2gal RO (room temp) to get temp down to 134F. Held for 15 mintues. Added 1/2 gal water to HLT to hit sacch temp. Overshot it a good bit., and added about 24oz tap water to get down to 153. Held for 30 minutes. Mash ph 5.11. Removed a third of the mash and performed a decoction, boiling for 15 minutes, then adding back to main mash.
