- Strike water at 164 brought it down to only 158- Mash water temp went down to 168 after 30 minutes :( Doesn't hold the temp as well as 5 gallon batches.- Used 9.75 Gallons of water for start. Filled to 12 gallon line for sparge. Got to 12.75 gallons for the boil wort. - Basement temp 68-70. Active bubbling next morning. 36 hours later bubbling starting to slow so I moved to dining room at 72 to warm and have strong finish.- 6/9/19 Both 5 gallon batches SG: 1.020- 6/16/19 Added 1oz of Cascade ...
