Special Instructions

1.
Bring 5.3 quarts of water up to 132 degrees F, then add grain for 30m protein rest
2.
Add 2.8 quarts of boiling water to bring mash up to 150 degrees F for 45 min main mash
3.
Remove grains and sparge with ~3.5 gallons 170 degree F water
4.
Add LME and DME and bring ~4.25 gallons to a boil, follow hops schedule
5.
After flameout, bring wort down to 80 degrees and top off with cold water to reach 5 gallons
6.
Add yeast at/below 70 degrees and place in fermentor at 50 degrees
7.
Ferment for ~3 weeks before moving to keg and lagering for another 4-6 weeks
