I'm super new to all grain. Figured a Lager would be a good place to try my second batch. My OG was 1.010...super terrible! My setup is not mash friendly. I am looking at getting set up soon with a mash tun and such and hopefully my efficiency will be closer to 70% Decided to run some numbers on here to see what would happen and seems as though adding quite a bit of fructose/corn syrup (not high fructose) would bump up my gravity numbers and alcohol content. It is saying it will add color but the syrup I used was light syrup so I doubt it will affect the color. Here's hoping all goes well and this turns out to be a decent beer.
