Color is a nice gold with medium carbonation. Head starts tall with loose bubbles that slowly falls to a small tight cap. Aroma is has creamy coconut and just a touch hops with a faint metallic scent in the back. It has a medium body with a crisp mouthfeel and a rich slightly sharp feel in the back. Flavor comes on a light malt base then a creamy coconut shows backed by a very mild bitterness. In the aftertaste the coconut takes on a sharp edge giving way to a note of alcohol. Overall it's drinkable but not really what I was wanting. I think it worked to only toast half the coconut and not dry hop, also I feel the hops worked out well. I think I will cut the corn sugar out next time and maybe use crystal 20 instead of the 60.
