All Grain American Pale Ale homebrew recipe. This homebrew recipe uses the following ingredients: Pilsner - US, Rolled Oats - US, Mosaic Hops, Citra Hops, Galaxy Hops, Mandarina Bavaria Hops, Nelson Sauvin Hops, White Labs Burton Ale WLP023 Homebrew Yeast.
Transferred to secondary 2/22 to get beer off of the bio-trans hops and whirlpool hops (DO NOT bring whirlpool hops into fermenter next time - smelled like vegetables coming out of the kettle). Refractometer readings were SG 1.026, BRIX 6.6 - Estimated ABV 7.3%
Brewed 2/19. OG 1.068 after yeast addition and aeration. Majority of whirlpool hops (Mosaic) moved into primary, and 1 oz each Citra and Galaxy added as soon as transfer to primary was complete.
