Special Instructions

1.
Heat 14 quarts of water to 164 F.
2.
Mash in 12.25 pounds of grain at mash temp of 152 F.
3.
Heat 20 qts of water to 168 F.
4.
After 60 minutes, begin lautering mash.
5.
Sparge grain bed until boil volume of 7.2 gallons is attained.
6.
Total boil time will be 90 minutes.
7.
30 minutes into boil add 1 oz of Hallertauer hops.
8.
60 minutes into boil add .75 oz of Hallertauer.
9.
Upon completion of boil, cool wort down to pitching temp of 65 F.
10.
Pitch 2L starter of yeast to cooled wort.
