Roast 1lbs of the malt for 30min at 350F before mashing. Mash in 3.5g, then sparge with 1-1.5g. Partial boil. The taste is clean with a nice toasted malt flavour, just what I was looking for from the roasting. Cooled, this would be a good summer ale and will be the base for future brews.
