This Single Hops recipe was developed for using my homegrown "mystery hops". Just guessing the AA is similar to a low AA European variety given the aroma when picked, for purposes of plugging into the recipe calculator. Hopefully this can help me determine the variety's properties and understand where it can best be used in other recipes. Will adjust 4x weight if using wet hops. values assume dry hops.

Notes:

Slightly sweet flavor. Mild hops. Hint of graham cracker/toasted marshmallow flavor and aroma. Very unique flavor now that it's mellowed for a few weeks. Seeing a trend in how my brews get better with a month or two of conditioning in the bottles (cellar temps).

Notes:

Light hop flavor reminiscent of a lager style, albeit with higher ABV and SRM. Still needs time to carbonate and bottle condition. Has my classic "homebrew" flavor. Not sure if it's the cascade or nottingham I'm picking up, but hoping it mellows a bit in a few weeks.

Notes:

First bottle sampled after a week in the bottle. Needs more time to fully carb and condition. Will hold out final judgement. First impression: very drinkable. Lots of character: plenty of residual sweetness, hint of citrus hops.

Notes:

Sweetest of my brews so far as a tested by the fg. Got a 5.8abv brew with the higher mash temp. Should be a mild yet flavorful beer with. Lot of character.
