had a hard time hitting mash temp doing this half batch, cooler to big. had strike water 2 degrees above calculator target. I had to infuse half quart boiling water twice to get close to my target of 153. next time go 5 degrees above target at least. used 1/4 cup of coconut sugar to prime used all 3 jars of 1 month old harvested scotiish ale yeast. 3 weeks ferment in carboy. ended up with 2.25 gallons bottled
