Mash Steps

No mash steps in this recipe

Special Instructions

1.
Heat 6l of water to 75c
2.
Mash in - add bagged grain and oats
3.
Mash - keep the mash at 68c for 60mins
4.
Mash out - heat mash back up to 75c for 10mins
5.
Sparge - remove bags to strainer - rinse with 75c water
6.
Bring 6l back to boil - and 15g hops pellets - simmer 60mins
7.
Add 10g hop pellets - simmer 25mins
8.
Add sugar, dried malt and 10gm hop pellets - simmer 10 mins
9.
Flame out - add 10gm hop pellets
10.
Top up with cold water to10l
11.
Cover and allow to cool
12.
Syphon to 11l carboy - add yeast
13.
Top up to neck of carboy - add fermentation lock
14.
Let run for 1-2 weeks - or until SG 1.012
15.
Rack to 2nd carboy - add 10g hop pellets for dry hopping
16.
Let sit for 1 week as cool as possible
17.
Mix 3/4tsp of gelatine in slightly cooled 80c water - stir in
18.
Move to fridge for 1 week cold crashing
19.
Remove from fridge and allow to warm 5hrs
20.
Bottle with priming sugar and leave for minimum of 3 weeks
21.
Move to fridge and ready for drinking
