10/25 - worked harder to maintain mash temp above 150 in thermos cooler. Perhaps 1.5 to fermenter @1.05010/30 - not clear that my yeast is working...slow at best (probably should have 'started' it)10/31 - transferred to secondary after checking gravity - 1.006 so yeast must have done the job - this should give about 5.7% ABV which would be near perfect! Taste is kind of bland though - slight bitter, no aroma which isn't surprising because nothing but the single Simcoe bittering addition. ...
