10/25 - worked harder to maintain mash temp above 150 in thermos cooler. Perhaps 1.5 to fermenter @1.050
10/30 - not clear that my yeast is working...slow at best (probably should have 'started' it)
10/31 - transferred to secondary after checking gravity - 1.006 so yeast must have done the job - this should give about 5.7% ABV which would be near perfect! Taste is kind of bland though - slight bitter, no aroma which isn't surprising because nothing but the single Simcoe bittering addition. Wait a couple of days to dry hop. About 1.25 gal total
11/2 add 0.5 oz Citra leaf to the gal and about 0.1 oz to the quart
11/9 bottle 5 22 1 about 16 oz total - faste is decent if a little bland - perhaps a second dry hop would have been good?
