10/4 will probably switch up hops a bit, depending on what I have on hand.1.014 at 140 degrees post-sparge, converts to 1.030 at 70 with 2.0 gallons into boil, which would be about 1.048 if reduced to 1.25 gallons, a bit lower than 1.054 target ;-(ugh. - just 1.040 after boil AND reduced all the way to 1 gal.So much for trying to use the mesh bag to sparge - also mashing temp dropped to 142 over the hour in thermos bucket. So, back to the pot, metal strainer technique I guess - at least for 1 ...
