Mash Steps

Special Instructions

1.
5 gallons of strike water at 170 degrees.
2.
Mash at 152 degrees for 60 minutes.
3.
6.5 gallons in hot liquor tank at 172.
4.
Collect Draff and sparge at about a quart a minute. 20-30 minutes.
5.
7 gallons for boil. Check gravity.
6.
90 minute boil following all hop additions.
7.
Cool to 175 and whirlpool for 20 minutes. Let settle.
8.
Cool to 70 degrees, transfer and pitch yeast.
9.
After fermentation, transfer dry hop for 3 days.
10.
Transfer again then cold crash for at least 3 days.
11.
Closed transfer to keg.
