1.Bring 2.5 gal tap water to 162 strike temp, add all grains
The flavor on the beer was good -- well balanced, appropriate hoppiness for a porter, good roasted flavor. But the alcohol content seemed pretty low. I dropped the efficiency in the recipe from the original 75% down to 55% to reflect. I think the mash temperature went up too high too early and stopped some of the enzymes.
