A traditional Trappist ale, this Belgian double uses dark turbinado sugar instead of D-90. Using Fermentis Abbey yeast but via the yeast cake from a Doppelbock, this beer should finish quickly! A complex grain bill with simple hop additions lends to a depth of flavors that make this beer one of the most popular styles in the world.

    I had to swap out Styrian Golding for Fuggles (Genetically similar, just different region), and Hallertau for German Traditions, also genetically similar.
