Special Instructions
1.Aug 03/22: Mashed in with 11.5L, 3ml lactic acid, 2.5g each CaSO4 and CaCl2
2.Hit 67C. 45 minute mash
3.Sparged with 18.2L, 4ml lactic acid, 3g each CaSO4 and CaCl2
4.55C mashbed with 80C water for 72C mashout, 20 minute timer.
5.Gathered 6.75 Gallons, need more sparge water. Used calculation and not Brewgr.
6.Sanitiser from June 5th but not used very often. Used pH strip, turned red.
7.Added 1L of boiling (and boiled) water to dilute.
8.Aug 03/22 1pm: Pitched into 29.7C wort. FC set to 30C.
9.Aug 03/22 830pm: Added 1oz Cascade DH. Laser at 29.7C. Full krausen.
10.Aug 04/22 7am: Added 1oz Cascade DH. Laser at 31.5C. Still very active but krausen is starting to drop.
11.Aug 04/22 3pm: Really slowed down bubbling. FC up to 32C.
12.Aug 05/22 7am: Laser at 31.9C. A bit of bubbling still, FC up to 34C.
13.Aug 05/22 930pm: Laser at 35C
14.Aug 06/22 7am: Turned off heating to begin chilling.
15.Aug 15/22: Bottling day! 6.15oz dextrose to 19.5L at 35C for 2.75 volumes.
16.Started getting bubbles in the siphon 2/3 through the transfer. it was submerged, not sure if O2 or CO2.
