Use this recipe as a starter for the standard IPA. 3.6G AW CT 3G RO 4g Sulfate, 3g CaCl for mash. Mashed at GF 72C to yield 149-151F actual mash temp. we will see how this works. 75min mash. suspect some of the head issues have been from very low mash temps. need to purchase long kitchen thermometer if this is actually the case. Sustained mash at 69F, not sure what the mash temp actually is. need the temp probe, need to mash in at strike 72C or so since the mash cools alot. cdn probe seems like 3-4F off. aerated for 90 min. pitched at 20C entire 1500ml starter. brewed on 09/10/22
