Special Instructions
1.Bring 2 gal water to strike temp of 162F. Add grains. Set mash temp to 158F (which ended up keeping a fairly consistent 155F for the 60 minute mash).
2.Mash was too thick. Added maybe .5-.75 gal of 155F water to get soupy mash.
3.Sparged with 1.5-2 gal of 162F water, ending up with a starting boil volume of about 3.75 gal
4.Hop additions: 60 min, 15 min, 1 min
5.Drained straight to fermenter, set it in a bucket with 16lbs of ice and water, added freezer container of ice. Pitched yeast at around 55F.
