Special Instructions
1.4.5 Gallons of strike water at 168 degrees.
2.Mash in at 154 degrees for 60 minutes.
3.Raise mash temp to 170 degrees for about 10 minutes.
4.Heat 5 gallons of sparge water to 175 degrees and begin lauter.
5.Collect draff and recycle back into mash tun until runoff is clear.
6.Need about 7 gallons of wart for the boil.
7.Boil 90 minutes following hop additions in recipe.
8.Add Trubinado sugar with 15 minutes left in the boil.
9.Whirpool and let wart settle for 20 minutes.
10.Cool to 70 degrees and transfer to carboy.
11.Pitch yeast and seal.
12.After Krausen begins to fall around day 2 or 3 add dry hops.
