Mash Steps

Special Instructions

1.
Add 3 gallons on water to kettle
2.
Bring water temp to 160 degrees
3.
Add grain to bag and steep in water for 20 minutes
4.
Remove grain and bring water to a boil
5.
Once a boil has started. Add 6 pounds of LME, Mt Hood hops (1oz)
6.
With 15 mins left, add 1 teaspoon of Irish Moss and 0.5oz of Casade Hops
7.
With 5 minutes left, add Cascade hops (0.5oz) and 1 pound of Honey, and spices
8.
Cool water to 80-90 degrees
9.
Re-hydrate yeast in sanitized warm water for 15-20 minutes
