I added my yeast to the HLT after it cooled, and then poured it into my carboy through a straining cloth to keep the hop sludge out. I hope the yeast makes it. I was using the yeast I have, which is over a year expired, but the packaging is vacuumed sealed and in intact. We will see hoe it goes.
