easy brew, just long with the decoction. dark wort plus noble hops was quite the pleasant smell.

Very dark brown, almost black, with plenty of garnet peaking through glass edges. Khaki foam. Subtle cocoa and molasses. Soft dark chocolate chip cookie on the palate. There's a whimsical saaz note floating in the middle of all malt. Finish is ephemeral dark chocolate bitterness.
I don't think I'd want to change much about the recipe. Interested to try carabohemian in place of the caramunich. Getting some of the bohemian dark malt would be nice. Maybe shifting the balance of the pils and dark munich, and pulling back on the carafa a little bit. Not drop it below 28 SRM.
