Boil wasn't quite dialed in at first, so I ran it for 65 minutes, otherwise easy brew, KO'd at 72F. It's getting hot. Pitched WY1275 gen 2 from cache out pale. Will put in ferm chamber to bring down to 68F.

7/21. Tapped...maybe close to two weeks ago? Rich golden color, with sticky white foam. Dense hop resin aromas, with some sweet pine sap. Chewy pale malt, medium-bodied, with a thick, saturated bitterness. It washes across the entire palate, while notes of citrus pith and unapologetic hop resin manifest. Finish is clean, with a lingering bitterness.
Had the grist been thinned with some pils, and carafoam omitted, the hops would've come into sharper focus. Bitterness is a bit too high, by about 5-10 IBU. I forgot what this sorta thing tastes like. The hop blend needs some help, too, something bright to cut through the weed fog of Chinook and Mosaic.
