Easiest lager brew I've had in a minute. Efficiency was probably closer to 72%, I boiled off a hair much. Set controller to 51F

1/19. Lagered one week. Pale straw with a modest haze to it. Thick, rocky, white foam. Light citrus notes in the nose, subtle lemon and orange. Medium-light in body, crisp and well-defined. Crisp pilsner malt character, with a clean, firm bitterness. More subdued citrus and herbal notes on the palate. Bone dry finish.
I think if I could get some appreciable lagering time on this beer, I would prefer it more. When I brewed this at the pub, the hop blend delivered complexity that isn't apparent in this batch. I think at this small of scale, discrete blends for each addition aren't as useful. I don't think I could pick out a single hop definitely in this beer. Incredibly drinkable for its weight. Not a bad beer by any means, but it could definitely benefit from some additional conditioning time.
