(Include any important notes from brew day until tasting)
Added 1 1/2 tsp of gypsum Calcium Choride
Doughed in and the temp didn’t drop as much as I expected
Realized i am supposed to reset temp to mash temp prior to adding grain
Initial Preboil Gravity was a little low so I added a pound of Cane sugar to get to 1.065
Anvil heated to 205 and sat there...never got to a full boil. Transferred to old brew kettle and put it on the burner to get the boil going after sitting watching it for like 1:45.
Lost almost half a gallon to evaporation so reduced the boil time to 45 minutes
Forgot to add the final HOPS till teh wort had cooled to below 100...hope that doesn’t fuck me
As it cooled the majority of suspended crap sank to bottom of kettle, we’ll see if it stays there
There was lot of Trub, left at least half a gallon in teh kettle and it appears to be settling out in the fermenter.
Pitched yeast at 66 degrees...crossed fingers
7/2 - Moved to Secondary and dryhopped Gravity was a little higher then expected 1.027 after a pretty active fermentation at 72 degrees
7/15 - FAmily camping trip got in the way and kegging was delayed till today. Beer smelled and tasted pretty good - cold crashed and pressurized with CO2 to start carbonation - will drop it down tomorrow

Gravity Estimates
Based on boiling 6.50gallonsliters at 1.065 for 60 minutes, this will decrease your wort by 0.50gallonsliters, bringing your after boil OG to 1.070.
You wanted an OG of 1.073. It looks like it will be under.
