NB Honey Kolsch - Modified Brew Session

Brew Session Info

(Include any important notes from brew day until tasting)

Full volume, overnight, no-sparge mash. Total mash time ~8 hours (11pm - 7am), run-off and boil w/out sparge. This method was a definite time saver on brew day though. I think I definitely lost some efficiency w/out the sparge. Original kit OG was 1.048 but with the extra 1# base malt added I should have been higher but ended up slightly lower.

Based on boiling 6.50 gallonsliters at 1.030 for 60 minutes, this will decrease your wort by 1.00 gallonsliters, bringing your after boil OG to 1.035.

You wanted an OG of 1.046. It looks like it will be under.
